Statement of “Sense of Place II – resonace -“
「記憶と場所」のシリーズを続けていて感じたことがある。
私達の記憶は不確かで、場所や時間の間違いは頻繁に起きる。そして時間に対しても脆弱で、時間ととも薄れ、そして忘れ去られていく。
他者の視点の変化だけでなく、錯誤や時間軸による不確かな記憶、それらが共鳴し合うことでも場所を作り出すのではないか。
I felt this while continuing to work on “Sense of Place” series.
Our memories are uncertain, and we often make mistakes in place and time. It is also vulnerable to time, fading and being forgotten over time.
I believe that places are created not only by changes in other people’s perspectives, but also by the resonance of mistakes and uncertain memories caused by time lines.
